GFC offers a wide variety of pine and hardwood seedlings. We cater to small, private, non-industrial landowners and we serve thousands of customers in that capacity. Seedlings are available in small or large quantities and we offer varieties suitable for all environments in Georgia. Many of our seedlings have been genetically improved to adapt to Georgia’s unique climate conditions.

Each year, GFC supplies seedlings to Georgia landowners for reforestation, beautification and wildlife habitat. GFC begins processing orders on July 1 for the following planting season (in Georgia, planting season is from December through March 1). Seedlings are available to the public on a first come-first serve basis. Orders can be delivered to and picked up at any GFC office across the state without additional charge. Learn More

- Southern Pine Beetle Cost Share Program
The cost share program for Southern Pine Beetle (SPBP) is now accepting applications. Landowners eligible for up to $10,000 for SPB prevention practices.

-Invasive Plant Control Cost Share Program
The sign up period is now open. Target Species are Privet sp., Japanese climbing fern, Chinese Tallowtree, Chinaberry, Callery Pear, Non-native olive sp., Kudzu, and Wisteria.

- Georgia ReLeaf - up to $15,000 for tree planting & tree giveaways projects. Application period is open May 1 – July 15.

- Trees Across Georgia (TAG) - up to $150,000 for community forestry projects such as tree inventories, workforce development, heat island mitigation, staffing, storm planning, etc. Application period now open!

- Technical Assistance - GFC will provide canopy mapping, code and policy audits, and planning assistance to communities under 50,000 in population through its partner, the Green Infrastructure Center. Guidelines and more information can be found here. Learn More
