Georgia’s online permitting system allows landowners to obtain permits for eligible agricultural burning and land-clearing activities, provided there are no burn restrictions in place for the county that day. Georgia Certified Prescribed Burners may also use the online system to obtain permits for burns of up to 99 acres.
- Online permits are available daily from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m.
- Permits are valid for the day of issuance only.
- Permit availability is dependent on current weather conditions, fire danger and any local burning restrictions that may be in effect.
